Alice's - A Family Restaurant

So, I don't want to sound like a snob, but Alice's needs a renovation. It's dim, drab and not comfortable. The ribs were really good, the other meals okay, but we wouldn't rush to return. Our waitress was very attentive. The receptionist was... unhappy.

Food is good I go there a lot I had the chicken dinner it's always crispy it's a nice family place.

We had a great time on Fried Chicken night. Onion rings were crispy, you can see the pull on the cheese sticks, fried shrimp were plump and tasty, the Country Fried Chicken was delicious. We will be back.

This is a nice family restaurant, very diner like. This time I started out with a delightful bowl of Cream of Crab soup. It's always done with a thick rue which I love. It has some seasoning added, but not to much. Most review their cream of crab as excellent. Then on to the main meal, which was Calves liver and onions. For sides I had a baked potato, and baked beans. The liver was delicious, the baked beans was fairly generic but good. The baked potato was cooked well, but I think for butter they use some type of margarine instead of butter, as it wasn't as delicious as I would have expected the potato to be. I think I’ve eaten there At least four times. Try different things to eat every time. My favorite Was their breaded chicken. I went on Monday. It was the special. I actually think it’s the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. It really tasted like my grandma‘s!
