A friend recommended this place to me as a must try. I went a few weeks ago with a different friend and we both agreed, phenomenal! I am still thinking about the butter chicken. And the pizza. We both ate more than we would have normally, and did the absurd little dance women tend to do when they eat something amazing or are happy. Just a little unassuming spot in Delmar. Absolutely delicious, authentic and yes, a MUST try. I will for sure be going back!
Butter Chicken pizza is one of the best pizzas i have ever had. I have had pizza all over NY state, and Albany. Theirs, especially the butter chicken, is better that anything i uave had in Albany.
At Alibaba Curry and Pizza Restaurant, the Lamb over Rice and Chicken Shami Kabab offer a satisfying blend of flavors and textures that stand out in their menu. The Lamb over Rice is a hearty dish featuring tender, slow-cooked lamb that's richly spiced and aromatic. The lamb is served atop a bed of fluffy, seasoned rice, creating a comforting and well-balanced meal. The rice itself is subtly infused with saffron and other spices, complementing the savory lamb perfectly. The Chicken Shami Kabab is another highlight. These kababs are expertly spiced, with a flavorful blend of herbs and spices, and cooked to a perfect crisp on the outside while remaining moist and tender inside. The shami kebabs are served with a side of fresh, tangy chutney that adds a zesty contrast to the rich kababs. O
This place is great. Phenomenal curries. The specialty pizzas are outstanding. The fusion pizzas are out of this world. Try them all. Can't say enough good things. Owner operator is a very nice man. Strongly recommend.
Ordered a regular pizza and a Paneer Tika Masala (veg) on Thanksgiving night. The regular pizza was a solid pizza. The Tika was an interesting twist on an American classic. I quite enjoyed it. We also got dessert; we found the kheer too watery and the chocolate cake was like cardboard.
