Alfa y Omega Café and Deli American and Honduran Food

Apologies for the photo of half-eaten breakfast that doesn’t do it justice! Came here with family for breakfast; among us all we had the baleada mixta, baleada simple, guacamole, pancake, coffee, y leche de avena. Everything was so good. We were told would take 10-15 minutes, though there were no other customers, as everything was made from scratch. (They also had several ready-made dishes for the workday breakfast rush). Sure enough, they even hand-made the tortillas, which were amazing; thin, almost translucent, with a pleasant stretch and doughiness around the edges. The fillings were flavorful and satisfying (frijoles—looked like refried black beans—crumbly queso fresco, scrambled egg, tangy crema. The carne asada plate is my favorite! I love the squeaky cheese and homemade tortillas that it comes with. The chicken burrito is also a staple at our house. The food is well seasoned and you can tell that it’s made with love.
