Alexanders is a farm to table type of restaurant, which works well with my diet restrictions. It's good to know exactly what is in my food! We've wanted to try them out, and I don't know why it took so long!! We went for brunch on Saturday at 11:15a - and it wasn't crowded. They are part of the Inn at the Creek and the grounds and ambiance is lovely! We chose to sit on the deck and had a beautiful view of the creek. Service was excellent - and they did not rush you at all. The menu is limited for both brunch and dinner, but I think there is something everyone would like. We started with the freshly made biscuits - which came with house made jam and butter. Today's was peach and OMG..it was SO good!! I had to stop myself at one, although my husband had two! It's hard to get a biscuit

Our Valentines dinner could not have been better!!! Emily made every attempt at accommodating our last-minute requests and changes, and our large group had the absolute best time! The drinks up in the speakeasy were delicious and meals were cooked to perfection!

Our Thanksgiving dinner was a total bust. Never been that disappointed in dining experience. Thanksgiving at Alexander's has been a family tradition for several years now. We've taken family there who visit from out of town and have always enjoyed our meals and service. This year was just a total bust for several reasons. 1 - For Thanksgiving, you were expected to pre-pay for your meals. Part of that pre-payment was you were to list your tip - for services not rendered - yet. We've eaten at places around the world through the years - but we have never been asked to pre-pay for ANYTHING before we walked in he door. We actually got a phone call as we were driving to the restaurant, asking if we were still coming and if we were, they wanted payment - over the phone, driving down 35 to

Wow! We were recommended by the locals to come here for a cocktail but then go elsewhere for dinner, since we weren’t wanting to spend a lot for food. We decided to get the Brussels sprouts as an appetizer, and they were so phenomenal, we just kept ordering different items! We ended up getting the Alexander salad, which was wonderful, the crab cakes, which were also amazing, and the chicken, which was delightful, but the broccolini left something to be desired. Our only slight issue was our server was brand new, and wasn’t quite as knowledgeable about wine profiles and menu items, but she was lovely otherwise. Sit on the deck, it’s gorgeous!

My husband and I stopped in while we were in town, and I was a bit underdressed compared to the usual vibe. As soon as I walked in, the hostess and a server made me feel completely welcome and encouraged us to stay and enjoy a meal, which I truly appreciated. We ended up sitting outside on the beautiful porch with an amazing view. The service was outstanding—so kind, cheerful, and attentive. I didn’t catch names for sure, but I believe one server was Austin (dirty blonde hair in a ponytail with tattoos) and the other may have been Patrick (short dark hair and a short beard). They worked incredibly well together and made the experience even better. Amazing teamwork, welcoming atmosphere, and wonderful service. We’ll definitely be back.
