Alebrije - Mexican Grill & Tequila Bar

Stopped in on a roadtrip, glad I did. Vibrant colors, warm & welcoming staff, great tasting handcrafted margaritas not poured from a pre-made barrel. I was surprised to be the only patron at the time. If I remember correctly it was prime lunch time. There were alot of pick-up orders (uber eats & door dash) must have been no less that 15 orders in the hour that I was there. I got the birria tacos, perfectly seasoned, perfectly juicy, just perfect. If I didnt have to get back on the road, I would have eaten 6 (two orders) then taken a long nap. They had a stage for live music as well. I wish I could be back on one of those nights, I have no doubt it would be a great time.

Amazing food! My server Josue was super attentive and gave me so many options to choose from!! And the margaritas OMG the best in Sanford!!! Love this place can’t wait to come again

We were greeted when we arrived, but that was about the only decent part of the experience. Our server was extremely slow and spent most of the time on their phone, completely inattentive to our table. It felt like we were an afterthought the entire time. The food? Just as bad. It was bland, and tasted like it had been sitting out way too long. Definitely not fresh, and certainly not worth the price. If you're expecting good food and good service, you won’t find either here. Alebrije was a major letdown. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. !SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE!

It was our first time here and we had a very nice and delicious lunch. The quality was great and fresh. Karla was our waitress, and she gets 6 Stars!

My daughter and I were in Sanford for an appointment and we stopped in for a great lunch! Amazing food! We have the enchilada and street tacos. Homemade hot sauce was so tasty and the homemade tortillas made the meal. Great service also. We will be back:)
