Alba Italian Grill

Our first visit, Alba is terrific! excellent food- we had seafood black linguine, swordfish livornese, and pasta caprese. Jimmy the owner is just a Doll! Warm, comfortable ambiance. The cocktails were perfect too and reasonably priced. Alba is a great addition to the dining scene. Can't wait to go back!

First time here. Atmosphere is relaxing and nice. Family run business… Jimmy the owner is wonderful. Pasta dishes were exceptional! Appetizers and French soup especially was amazing.! Homemade blueberry and apple pie that was out of this world. They couldn’t do enough for you for lunch five days a week and they had so many tables. It was buzzing on a Sunday night. Also, they have a bar so Jimmy makes the best mixed drinks.

Our first visit to Alba's and we were so pleased! Service, menu selections, cocktails, food and hospitality are all first rate! And Jimmy is the most amiable host. We started with the Apple Salad (a special) - baby arugula, walnuts, gorgonzola and apples, all lightly dressed. Perfect starter! The cocktails are generous and expertly prepared. We had black ink linguine with seafood, swordfish livornese (both specials) and pasta calabrese. Every entree was expertly prepared, flavorful and delicious! And portions are generous. We shared the coconut snowball and homemade apple pie a la mode for dessert; complimentary biscotti are brought to each table as part of the service. Desserts were excellent! It was our first time having dinner here and it was very good. The place is inviting and the food and service was great. The food we had which was chicken parmigiana and chicken forintino were both delicious and very generous portions. The dessert menu had plenty to pick from and we had a cappuccino which was so delicious. We will be returning.

Our first time at Alba’s this week was absolutely wonderful! As a 42 year resident of Hillsdale, I have experienced other restaurants at that location. None were even close to the high caliber of Alba’s. The ambiance, the service, and the quality of the food were all first class! We were served by Lume and Jimmy (Alba’s parents) who are true pros and were so warm and welcoming! This restaurant is highly recommended!
