Aladdin's Eatery + Lounge

LOVED this place!! They were so kind and friendly with our little man. We had the Aladdin and Lebanonese Salta Salads. They were so delicious. They were light, healthy, but still incredibly flavorable. The Pita bread was our little mans favorite part and we totally understand why because it was very yummy. We also enjoyed a Hot Toddy. It was so good, just the right amount of mint. It was perfect for the cold day.

Our last night in Cincinnati last week and we decided to go here - other Middle Eastern restaurants had chicken wings and other unrelated things on menu but this looked great! From the welcome to the finish of meal, it was great. I wish we'd gone here earlier in the week so we could've eaten here twice! The menu had so much to select from! The offered a Valentine's special, so I took that because I'd been intrigued by their roasted chicken which was offered here. The baba ganouj was fantastic, smoky and rich, the hummus great too. My chicken was tender and flavorful, the accompanying cauliflower, pickled radish, the fabulous "salata" one bite after another just great. Had dinner at Aladdin's last July on a Saturday evening around 6pm and had an unfortunately bad overall dining experience. Had a party of 4 adults + one child and sat outside and were pretty close to fully ignored by the server. It wasn't crowded and didn't seem understaffed from the team we saw moving around. We waited about 10 minutes for a server, then 20 minutes for beverages and another 25 minutes for our meals after the drinks. The hummus appetizer was good. I tried the Aladdin's Favorite Combo and while the rice and salad were decent, the meat was so overcooked. It was dry and the steak component was exceptionally hard to chew. A really cool spot downtown. The staff is so helpful and provides great service. The food is delicious and full of fresh flavor. The hummus, baba gannouj, falafel, Flavor Savor plate and pita with the garlic and hot sauce are some of my favorites.

I have been here a couple different times, and every single time it is absolutely delicious. Is there rolled sandwiches are absolutely delicious though they may be cheap for the city that does *not* mean the amount of food you're getting is lacking. Has someone who really likes spicy food I recommend the "Spicy Kofta Rolled"
