I recently dined at Al-Ha-Esh Kosher Grill in West Hills and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. Here’s why this restaurant earns a glowing five-star rating: From the moment you arrive the atmosphere feels warm and inviting. The team greets you with genuine hospitality, making you feel welcome whether you’re dining alone, with friends, or with family. The space feels relaxed yet purposeful, designed to let the food shine. I ordered the rib eye steak kabob, and it was one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly over the charcoal grill. My wife and son had the chicken breast kabob, and my daughter ordered the chicken shawarma. Amazing food & great selection. If you love authentic Israeli food that’s kosher (meat) this is the place to go. Their hummus, tahini & baba ghanoush is fantastic and their meat is tender and juicy. But what gets me most excited (and is nearly a religious experience on its own) is their eggplant sandwich. Crispy eggplant stuffed in a pita with hummus and tahini- I don’t know how they make such a simple dish so exquisite but it’s definitely up there in the top 5 favorite sandwiches I’ve ever had. Their service is always friendly and the restaurant is always clean.

I was hooked now I had to make the perfect order. Not sure if you know this, but this place is run by a sweet family who used to operate one of the finest shwarma hubs in Los Angeles known as Ta’eem on Melrose. GREAT FOOD! GREAT PEOPLE!, NICE LOCATION! YOU CAN NOT MISS! (PITA BREAD IMPORTED FROM ISRAEL) THE BEST IVE HAD! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR "ISRAELI FOOD NEAR ME?" I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT, THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD AND ALSO A GOOD POINT IS THAT IT'S READY WITHIN MINUTES. GREAT IF YOU GO ON YOUR LUNCH IT GIVES YOU PLENTY OF TIME TO ENJOY IT.
