Airport in the Sky Restaurant

Cute airport, amazing to watch the airplanes land. Only had the hot dog and delicious cookie. They have a cute little shop for souvenirs. You can walk around and watch the planes, has seating area outdoors and indoors. We stopped here as part of Eco tour Catalina Island Conservancy.

Great little stop on the Trans-Catalina Trail between Blackjack and Little Harbor. After miles of hiking, the hot food and cold drinks hit the spot, and the desserts are a nice bonus. Service is quick, and it’s the perfect place to relax and recharge before heading back on the trail.

After a huge hike my friends and I stopped at the Airport in the Sky restaurant. We asked our server what they recommend and ordered the Bonanza burger. It was a delicious buffalo burger with bacon, veggies and sauce 10/10. The peanut butter chocolate chip cookie was also SO GOOD! Perfect stop if you're hiking the TCT on the weekend.

OK, so this place was pretty cool! Very historical and really good view! I grabbed a handful of items from the restaurant. It is more of a sandwich, burger, snack bar place. You should definitely try the cookies. If you do the bison tour they will recommend that you get one. They are Big and homemade. Hard to beat! Usually, the tour guides are really fun and keep you entertained. I would definitely recommend checking out this airport. Very high focal point of the island with a great view of everything.

I did the 3 hour eco tour with the Catalina Island Conservancy in town, and we stopped here for a little break, to shop and explore for a bit. The cookies were freshly baked and as good as everyone says. Definitely a historical and fun landmark on the island to checkout wile you're here.
