Aiken County Library

I love the library. Love the upgrades to the building. It's hard finding the elevators though. No outside sign posted where you can see for those that can't take the stairs. It's a bit of a climb, but I can burn the calories. Bathrooms are always clean. I love the lounge/lobby area where you can sit and snack or eat lunch quietly. They have STRICT RULES in the children's section. I'm not sure if they have available quite rooms for studying? I will have to ask. But they do have a lot of vacant rooms for events, etc. I like that they always have fun things going on. MOSTLY FOR KIDS THOUGH 🤔🙄☹️. Wished they had more focus on every age group. I got somewhat excited about a movie night that they were having and they didn't specify that it was for grade school kids only, so I was turned away d

This is our favorite library in all of Silken County!! It's the largest library in the area as well! It even has a play room for toddlers!! We have the best time when we go for a visit and end up staying for hours!!

This library is clean, bright, and inviting. I walked in and a big smile covered my face. It took me back in time looking at all the books ( I know, I know, it's a library), the display, the modern touch, and the beautiful kind librarian made my day. If you are in the area you need to stop and visit this beautiful library.

Decent library with a really good collection of materials. The second floor staff is very professional and accommodating. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the front desk staff which on the past three visits have appeared very unhappy to be there. Hence the three stars. Consider putting best face forward.
