Ahumados Malboa

I can tell you without a doubt that this is some of the best Cuban food you can find in the area. The vibes are immaculate, everyone is friendly and excited to have you there. We went for lunch before, and I just picked up a large smoked pork loin for the holidays. Out of this world and at a great price. In addition to the food, there is a small market area with a space-limited selection but the items for sale are all quality.

We noticed this place tucked away in a lot that used to be empty before they were even on Google and decided to give it a try. It's a food truck with a nice pavilion, picnic benches and even a small produce market. We ordered our meals to go but I had the ropa vieja and my partner had the lomo ahumado. Everyone was so friendly and excited to have us there that we were offered samples of soup and malanga chips while we waited for our meals. Everything was absolutely amazing and makes other Cuban restaurants in the area pale in comparison.

Love the food 😋 great people that's nice and friendly. I must say.. Very good food that you will not say it tastes like any other restaurants, very authentic 🤤 like you were having mom cooking at home. My plate was enough for two. Good food, Good people, Good service, what more could you ask for. I literally wanted to try everything 🤤😋🤣

Outstanding luck-out find while driving down 54th. It's a good truck at the back of a kiosks with tables and shade. The food is excellent, fairly priced and portioned generously. I got tamales and red beans and the quality was excellent. They were the biggest tamales I'd ever had and were delicious. So much good Cuban food was coming out around me, I was eyeballing everything. I will definitely go back. There's plenty of dishes besides the normal Cuban fare. This place is gonna really compete with so many great local Cuban places.
