Ah-So Sushi & Steak

First time customer with a bad experience. We visited Ah-So for the first time with friends. Just a SO-SO experience. Waitress was extremely busy and seemed very rushed each time she came to our table. She started our order but abruptly stopped to check on another table. Not too many customers either. After returning in about five minutes, she continued our order. Not good Valentine’s Day service. The sushi rolls were just OK. Nothing to write home about. Definitely will not be back to this place since there are numerous other sushi restaurants in the area that are a lot better than this one. Management needs to do better.

Great food and entertainment. The staff is friendly and efficient. All 2 of us were pleased with our food.

If youre looking for high energy entertainment, then you need Gabriel cooking for you at Ah-So. Our entire table loved him. He was fun and very energetic. He also did a great job cooking. He had us all laughing and even did a magic trick. We also ordered some vegetable tempura and shrimp shumai from the kitchen that were pretty good. I dinged a couple points off atmosphere just because it seemed to take a while to be seated, then once we were seated, other tables got their chef way before we did even though we were there before they were. It was also a little awkward at the end with the hostess staff bringing new menus to the table and trying to set up when we were still there sitting. The evening was going well, stopped into this location for dinner, and then the restaurant absolutely fell apart after ordering. Apparently the owner had stopped in, and absolutely wrecked. The flow, and ticket times were through the roof! Roof! Hour and 45 minutes later finally got our order. And our baked sushi was wrong, so getting it redone was going to be another hour! Our server was great, but this owner earned every bit of this one star review! Sent the food back, and still paid, because I feel bad for the staff and tipped very generously as I could see what they were going through. Totally unacceptable and avoidable. Very regretful.
