Agawam Library

I love this library so much. It’s a beautiful space with a wonderful selection of materials and lovely staff

Really cool library. They have a large CD collection. The restroom was boring but clean. I did enjoy all of the artwork throughout the building.

The Agawam library has a very helpful staff . Nice computer room. Comfortable chairs for reading. Using the MARS catalog give you access to every book in Massachusetts libraries. Delivered to your library in days

Went to the Open Lego for Kids Grades 1-4 today with 3 of my boys on 8/21/24 and had one of the most disappointing experiences in a library event that we have ever had. Staff was nice and friendly one was hosting and other was taking photos for this event to put on agawam library media. There were two other children in the group one child of which kept intentionally taking legos from one of my boys who has mild aspbergers and saying he must have lost them and that they themself had it all along/found it in the bin. This really triggered my child and made him upset and we were trying to work through it. But he couldn't even go through 3 lego bins without the same child glaring at him and continuing at provoking him. I was the only parent present at the event I guess apparently it's normal t

An absolutely wonderful resource! I don’t live in Agawam, but helped introduce new arrivals there, whose English is limited still, to their library. The staff is truly helpful, friendly, and kind! We arrived close to closing time due to prior appointments, but they got their cards and the 15-year-old daughter came home with books about her native country in both that language, and English. She said she wants to go back after school daily!
