Amazing little surprise in the Grass Valley Target shopping Center! Great food, good beer, good ambiance (outside seating!!) Can't go wrong here...

Ordered Afternoon Chicken Clubhouse ($10.25). Yum! My first time here and the service plus food are awesome! The sandwich was not skimpy on any ingredients (especially avocado!). Bacon is crispy and the chicken tender. French fries remind me of Give Guys. Slightly crispy but mushy on the inside. Very tasty. Looks like they have burgers and gyros too. I’ll be coming back to try them soon!

I have been eating at Afternoon deli for years. The food quality is amazing every time and the service is great.

This is the best spot for a pastrami rueben sandwich and they're open during all the construction next door except Sunday and Mondays. I also recommend the hibiscus tea ☺️

Thought I was ordering a VEGAN pastrami sandwich. Turns out they pair their vegan pastrami with dairy cheese!! I was a few bites in before I realized that what I assumed was vegan cheese wasn't. I'm HIGHLY lactose intolerant. So I will absolutely be regretting having those few bites over the next few days. They were apologetic, and swiftly made me a new sandwich with vegan cheese. But I had to take it to go so I wouldn't blow chunks all over their dining room.
