As soon as I walked in, the arrogant woman at the counter said "what can I do for you?" in a super condescending tone to which I responded "can I have a minute?" She told me to have a "blessed" day as I left without buying anything. Fyi, the troll at the counter did not interact with the white woman that walked in the same way. Glad I chose not to spend my money at this establishment. I've patronized Portuguese bakeries and restaurants my entire life, in the US, and abroad, without incident.

The bread is ridiculously good and the woman who works there is wonderfully helpful. She even called another bakery to help us find something we were looking for that she was out of and have us directions how to get there. The biggest loaf of bread I've ever bought cost $2.50! And it was so good that we drove 90 minutes a week later to go buy more.
