Miss Lizzie’s Coffee

After staying up /ghost hunting all night at the Lizzie Borden house , we went a few feet down the road to this cute coffee shop. I enjoyed an iced coffee here and a private tour of the restaurant. I also got some information about the events that happened in the Lizzie Borden home by the staff here. The Staff was amazing and establishment was clean. Definitely would come back.

I visited twice during my stay at the Lizzie Borden House. The coffee was pretty good, I didn’t try the food. On street parking requires quarters, so bring change! It also had art gallery and gift shop inside. The staff was welcoming and polite.

Where to start? The staff are extremely kind and attentive, the menu has a wide variety of flavours and meals to try, there is a large art gallery full of work from local artists, and there is such a cute dog that we had seen today on our second visit to the shop. I will stress that they are very keen on correcting any issues! There was an issue with my order today and not only did they give a refund without me asking, they remade my order and gave me a gift card to apologize for the mishap. I have never been to a place that cares so much about their impression on customers! Thank you so much for having us today.

Discovered Miss Lizzie’s when I was in town to tour the Lizzie Borden house next door. This family owned joint is a gem of a place with friendly, knowledgeable, and honorable people. I took their free basement tour and love that they donate regularly to postpartum organizations. Plus I had to try their Wild Italian Soda, which was super refreshing!

Everyone in this coffee shop is SO nice. They make sure your drink is perfect and you can customize however you like. There’s also a shop where you can buy Lizzie Borden gifts or local art! And don’t forget the cute pup mascot waiting to greet your inside!! Local coffee shop 10/10!
