Afghani Cuisine in Knoxville, Tennessee is truly one of the best dining experiences my family and I have had in the United States. I’ve traveled across many states, and in most places you only find dry dishes or basic grilled food. Here, however, you can enjoy fresh, hot, home-style meals, including comforting stews and traditional dishes. Although the name says Afghan cuisine, the flavors are very close to Central Asian and especially Turkish home cooking. You feel as if you are eating in your own home. Everything is prepared daily with fresh ingredients. The place is extremely clean, hygienic, and welcoming. Incredible experience ordering rice (plov), shawarma and some chicken thing that I forgot the name of. Everything is delicious, flavorful and very balanced. I should also add that the food is of top quality and you can taste it. The owner is a wonderful man. I’m now definitely a lifetime customer!

I decided to try this place for dinner while traveling through Knoxville. First experience with Afghani food and I thought it was pretty good! Portions are also decent compared to the price. I got the goat meat instead of beef, which was delicious. I will say, I did not receive much meat; however, I was pretty full/satisfied by the time I finished my plate. Customer service was top tier! The owner came out and explained each menu item to me and made sure I was satisfied with what I ordered. Definitely would eat at this place again the next time I’m in Knoxville, check it out!

I came up to the truck unsure what I would want so I asked him what he recommended, ended up with a chicken bulani with extra food! The guy was so kind keeping me updated on times since everything is cooked only once ordered so you know it's fresh! The smell alone was enough to make me start salivating. Definitely bringing my friends and family here next time! :D
