We tried this place because someone said that the sauce wasn't sweet, but it was extremely sweet. And had a little bit of a spice kick to it. It did have a decent amount of cheese though. The calzone was super good, and so was the garlic butter. We would get that again.
Really good, cool College Vibe place. I'm super picky on pizza. Growing up and spending a few decades in the Detroit area with some of the best pizza places in the country I got to admit, I'm a bit biased. This place however was super good. Remind me a bit of hole in the wall, bar pizza back home. Super good. Thick, doughy crust and lots of toppings. Looks like they have quite a few other things on the menu as well but I specifically went there for the pizza. It's about 45 minutes from where I live so it's not a place that I would visit regularly, but if I go into downtown Cincy which I do once a month or so it will definitely be a spot to stop. Cool place. Parking is a bit of a challenge...Just an fyi.
We ordered takeout and after we picked up our order and took it home we noticed they forgot our breadsticks. We called and they said to come back in 10-15 min to pick them up. We walked back to the restaurant and waited in line for 5 minutes, and they helped the guy after us before asking us if we needed help. The guy at the front was super apologetic and he was really nice. However, they seemed confused even though I called and said we were going to have to wait another 15 mins. Then we finally got home and opened the rest of our food to see that our 1/2 boneless wings had 5 mini pieces (menu says about 10 pieces), then we open up the breadsticks and there were 3 tiny pieces and 2 normal size ones, they were undercooked. The pizza was good, but the service (besides the takeout cashier) an
One of my favorite places to eat when I'm in Cincinnati. Great food very friendly staff good atmosphere I must try for someone who has never been there.
Great local pizza place and bar. The atmosphere is that of a small university bar. The pizza we had was excellent and this place is a great local establishment and worth stopping in.
