I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place; I’ve been raving about it to everyone I know for a week. When eating at Adelaide you are not only coming in for a great meal, but an incredible dining experience. From the food, the drinks, to the decor, and the atmosphere, everything has been so well thought out; not one detail spared. The service was phenomenal; you can really sense the passion that the wait staff and managment has for this place. They truly care for each aspect whether it’s their vivid descriptions of the food or how the customer is enjoying their time; you can feel how much love they have for Adelaide. Each dish and cocktail showcases the care and creativeness that the chefs and the mixologist have tirelessly worked for. From unique and satisfying textures i
Adelaide brings an upscale city dinner experience right to Bergen County. From the drinks and appetizers to the pastas, main dishes, and desserts, you will certainly be full and not disappointed. The staff is amazingly trained, not only providing detailed descriptions and knowledge of the food they are serving, but also wiping off and providing new dishes and silverware after every course. It’s a totally elevated experience. Obviously I couldn’t help myself and ordered nearly everything on the menu. The portions were perfect to enjoy yourself or share with others. My friends and I finished all of our plates satisfied, but with room for dessert of course. You can see the thought that went into planning not only the food menu but the drink menu as well. My friends and I loved the espresso
Overall really nice place with great elevated modern atmosphere. Bar and Drinks very nice and food was all tasty. Only “complaints” would be for them to label their water types to differentiate between sparkling and still because we accidentally got given the wrong kind. Dessert was also a tad of a disappointment due to the lack of options compared to the main menu. Service staff all very kind and attentive. Standalone tables also feel a tad small for four people
Upon entering the restaurant, you walk into a lobby area framed by a staircase, a beautiful and plentiful bar, and an opening to the bustling kitchen. We were greeted and taken to our table – which admittedly was a bit small for a group of four – and were impressed by the modern yet rather elegant ambience of the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is open and airy but still intimate. The main demographic of the customers seemed to be mostly couples, with a few families or groups of friends. The one thing that my party noted was the presence of a toddler – maybe 2-3 years old – at the table next to us. While the toddler didn’t make a fuss or cause any problems, it did seem to be out of place at such a high-end establishment. The entire time the toddler was at the table, all of us se
I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with Adelaide! We have had the pleasure of dining there twice and both times had such a wonderful experience. It strikes the perfect balance of being upscale without feeling stuffy. From the moment we walked in, we noticed the beautiful décor and warm atmosphere. This followed through to the attentive and knowledgeable staff and the amazing menu. Chef Jack and his crew have created a unique and incredible menu. From the delicious beets to the fresh fish to the homemade sorbet - I was honestly wowed! I was also especially impressed with how knowledgeable and accommodating they were with allergies. They took the time to explain ingredients and make sure everything was safe, which made dining there feel comfortable and stress-free. Adelaide has q
