Addis Grill

Had the Athenian Grilled chicken. Done perfect and was clearly marinated as the flavor evolved as you eat. They clearly do the hard prep instead of quick slop. Hats off to them The atmosphere and service is culturally appropriate particularly for this price range

I ate here with friends. Plates were void of food when we left. I don't recall the name of the dish I ate and it was delicious!!!! It was served on sourdough teff. Love teff!!! The owner/manager was super friendly and informative, explained how all the dishes were prepared along with their nutritional value. I definitely recommend this wonderful dining establishment!!!!

As an airline pilot who's traveled across the US and internationally to a lot of cities, I’ve eaten at many restaurants, and Addis Grill in Louisville has become one of my favorites! It’s centrally located downtown at 109 S 4th Street, right between the Kentucky International Convention Center and the Galt House Hotel. It’s an easy, short walk from the Galt House and other nearby hotels like the Hyatt Regency, Louisville Marriott Downtown, Aloft Louisville Downtown, and Courtyard —super convenient when you’re staying in the area. The family-run environment is always welcoming, and the staff is attentive and friendly. My personal favorite is the Lamb Kebab Special—perfectly grilled, flavorful, and seasoned just right, but they have many other excellent options. It’s been outstanding ever

Made to order kebabs, curry and various Ethiopian dishes. Very tasty and flavorful.

This was my first time trying Ethiopian food and it was so delicious. The vegan mezze platter was amazing and I had the vegan stew for my main. I couldn't believe how fresh and tasty the food was. I was definitely in need of a good healthy meal and I was not disappointed, you won't be either if you eat here when in Louisville. I would highly recommend to anyone, especially vegans!!
