If you are looking for a cozy, quiet, romantic dinner in a posh restaurant with servers who fawn over you, as they bring you fancy expensive cocktails, this is not your place. Addis is small, loud, and there is only one very busy and capable server. The food is freshly made to order, so you will have to wait for it. And you better wait because the food is stunningly good. Everything was perfectly seasoned and very fresh. Sit back and enjoy the Ethiopian music videos. Ease drop on your neighbours' conversations, reflect upon your past lovers and wish them well, even if they don't deserve it, but take the moments waiting to open your heart because something so tasty and comforting is coming, that will sweeten any sour memory.

Absolutely delicious. I've had Ethiopian food but long ago. I remember it was good but not nearly as good as this. The server was very helpful, gave us suggestions for tibs and the veggie platter. Not only was the food delicious and healthy but the prices were amazing value. The coffee was very good and the smoothies were the best I've had in a year. Honestly if you walk by you're doing yourself a disservice. Don't be afraid to ask for help from the service!

Ordered the veggie combination and everything was great. The injera was spongy and tangy. Each stew had the right texture and was extremely tasty. Our host was very friendly and welcoming. No need to travel to DC; there is great Ethiopian food here in Baltimore.

The people here are always nice, friendly, and full of smiles. The food is consistently delicious — it never changes, and that’s a good thing. This is one of the best places to find fresh Ethiopian food. I’m a regular customer and especially love coming on Sunday mornings for breakfast. However, they rarely open on time. I often end up waiting 15–20, sometimes even 30 minutes after the posted opening time, which can be frustrating. If they improved their punctuality, this place would be close to perfect.

ugh to find good Ethiopian food in Baltimore, but thanks to Addis Ethiopian Restaurant, we finally got to enjoy authentic Ethiopian dishes in B’more. I loved the food—amazing service too! I’ll definitely be coming back often.
