We love a meal at Acre. We’ve enjoyed many dinners and finally got to experience brunch this past weekend for my husband’s birthday with family. A must order is the Fried Green Tomatoes. We also enjoyed the French Toast, Birria Tacos & The Garden & Gun Gal (Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup). The only way to experience dessert is the Dessert Board, the Peanut Butter Pie is my favorite. This is one of the best places in town to celebrate special occasions. It’s always comfortable, service is always great, but I recommend making reservations in advance, especially for dinner.

Four of us went to Acre while attending a swim meet down in Auburn. A well recommended restaurant, I was eager to try it out. For the table, we shared a cheese board, which had the interesting addition of peanut brittle besides the typical cheese and cracker type affair. For the four of us, the pimento cheese was definitely a stand out, and I would order a side of that next time all by itself! I ended up ordering the “Redfish on the Half Shell,” which had “deckhand butter“ on top and a small assortment of potatoes. The potatoes were fairly crispy and not as soft on the inside as I would’ve hoped for, but still tasty enough. The fish was cooked perfectly, blackened, and moist, but the overall seasoning was too salty for my taste, and my friend who got the same dish felt the same way. Blacke

It’s NYE 2025. Arrived 7:30 left 10p. Took a while for food to arrive . The duck was good. The tenderloin was delicious. I didn’t care for any of the desserts. Limited selection. I don’t like chocolate, pb or bread pudding. My friends ordered it.. Super sweet. The chocolate cake was very dense not moist. The bread pudding was loaded with sugar !

The answer is ~ yes. Without hesitation. Prioritize a night out here. Wait staff is so helpful and friendly. Food was delicious. The only strange part was the parking situation, ha. I don’t want to ruin it for you, so I’ll let you experience first hand. Would go during peach season if able!

I recommend that you make reservations, otherwise you may be sleeping at the bar like we did. The food is really good but I did not like the chicken fried bacon. It was way too salty for my taste. However if you're from the south this is probably something you would enjoy. We do tend to love everything you make fried
