Tried on a whim since it’s close to home and ended up really enjoying it. Clean restaurant, super friendly staff, and great service (it got busy fast). Food is more Tex-Mex than authentic Mexican, but it’s good and the prices are fair. Glad to have a dependable local option — we’ll be back.
Always great food with even better service!
I tried it for the first time. I have to say I wish I'd have come sooner. The chips and salsa were very good. The guacamole was spot on. I had the beef chimichanga which was delicious. My waitress in spite of me not getting her name. Was not only very attentive. But also a very kind person.
Update since the new building: The new building and larger parking lot are awesome. The lunch special was one of the best Mexican restaurant deals I've seen in a while and service was solid. Definitely an improvement! Original review: Very typical good Mexican restaurant in NWA. The food was good, but not amazing. I got a Steven Special (or their version) and the proportion of steak to rice to cheese was off. I will say that the cheese dip was really good and had a perfect consistency. The main reason for me removing a star is the service was not great. We were hardly checked on at all. Anytime we wanted a refill of chips or drinks, we had to flag someone down. We were just not checked on during our visit.
We visit most every Friday night with a big group. Service is really good, quick to bring chips and drinks and take your order. Food is ok, best things we have found to eat are beef tacos, shrimp in garlic butter, and the ribeye steak.
