Abu Omar Gyros & Shawarma

If you don’t care about service and only care about taste, this is the right spot. Don’t expect warm, friendly, welcoming service, but you’ll get the tastiest gyro and shawarma. They taste better than their competitors in the area. So it’s worth checking out if you love gyros or shawarma.

Got the lamb gyro, looked amazing was kinda w.e. however the cheese/chicken fries were good.

SO GOOD WE HAD IT TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW! Hands down best gyros in Portland. We wanted to try a new place and ordered it on DoorDash last night and it was so good we got it again for dinner tonight. Warning though-there are a ton of homeless in that area and these ones are particularly aggressive. Don’t let that stop you-this place is worth it!

Very nice. The meats were good, the pita was soft and the hummus was delicious. The rice tasted great and fresh. Overall a great meal. Got the triple meat plate and it was like one giant deconstructed gyro. 5 star.

Always a great place to go at 1 in the morning on a weekend! The food is always hot, fast, and reasonably priced. The workers are nice and get you your food within minutes.
