OMG...My love and I had an awesome & delightfully tasty dinner for the first BUT not the last time. The crabs were cooked to perfection ( cook time and taste). There was NO meat left even from the legs🤦🏽♀️🤤. Even the Falcon had a good dinner😊.
I’m surprised by the reviews so I decided I’d write my own. My father and I visit North Beach yearly, and this is our second time going to Abners. We stumbled upon it the first year and decided visit again this year. Just like the first year, this most recent visit was great. My dad and I both enjoyed the crab dip with the baguette (it’s so good they should probably include 2 baguettes). Also, the grilled shrimp is delicious, I should have gotten that instead of the fried shrimp (which was good too I just discovered I don’t like breaded shrimp in general, nothing wrong with the meal). The first year we went here we decided to get crabs and they were great, this most recent visit we were both feeling shrimp so that’s what we got. We usually end up spending $100 total here for two people so
Amazing food, we got the crab cake sandwich and crab balls. Bar is kind of dark could use more lighting so not in best repair. Still 100% recommend for food.
Good quality control on crabs. Got a take out order of a dozen to go and no one likes to get any lightweight dehydrated crabs -- and they did not disappoint! 12 out of 12 perfect large males was an hours worth of great picking. If you're staying here, walk across the street to Abners.. you won't be disappointed!
We had a good time. The pretzel with crab dip was awesome. The kids burger was good. Prices are good as well. I would make a few suggestions. 1. Have someone dedicated to greeting customers. First walking in most employees were sitting down and I had no idea who was in charge and felt totally lost. 2. Instal blinds on the deck outside since in the evening the sun shines directly on the tables so it is extremely hot.
