Ambience is excellent and the service is truly top-notch — the staff is attentive and the overall experience feels premium from the moment you walk in. That said, it’s quite pricey for what you get. The appetizers were decent but the portion sizes were small, and none of the main courses really stood out in terms of taste. The presentation, however, is impressive — dishes look beautiful and well-crafted. This feels more like a place suited for an American or mixed crowd. An absolutely amazing event at this phenomenal restaurant! The chef and servers were off the charts, with incredible service and stories from the history of where this all began. I loved every dish which was created and explained in detail to us all, and I even ordered to go food as well! Absolutely a new favorite and will surely return soon! An unforgettable dining experience at Aarzu Last night we had the absolute pleasure of dining at Aarzu Restaurant, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. This was our very first dinner as the Shore Gals Culture Club, and 18 of us braved the elements to gather around a table filled with phenomenal flavors, warmth, and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. The food was absolutely amazing—each dish rich, layered, and beautifully prepared. What truly set the evening apart was the chef taking the time to share the history behind each dish, weaving together stories from his childhood and the deep cultural roots of Indian cuisine. We ordered the Eggplant Chaat (Pomegranate, date chutney, candied ginger), Mangalorean Chicken (South Indian homestyle chicken curry), Eggplant Mirch Salan (Roasted eggplant, long hot pepper, peanuts, sesame), as well as Black Sesame Kheer (Rice pudding, coconut, matcha ice cream) and Angoori Gulab Jamoon (Sweet milk dumplings, saffron rabri). Great service and atmosphere in addition to excellent dishes all around. Highly recommend especially for the cost. We will be coming back to try more of the menu.
