The Standard at The American Hotel

Wonderful waitress named Diane. Great service! Beautiful interior design high end atmosphere. Food was slow to come out. My fried chicken sandwich was a little under seasoned to my liking and the batter wasn’t crispy. The fries were delicious. The other guests in my party were happy with their selections.

The Standard consistently delivers an exceptional experience. The food is outstanding every time, with a well-curated menu that offers excellent variety, and the bar is a standout—fantastic cocktails and a lively yet refined atmosphere. Service is attentive and polished, with manager Ryan regularly circulating the room and checking in on guests, which really elevates the experience. A consistently top-notch spot that’s always worth returning to.

Alicia is the most wonderful waitress. She is so kind and caring. She is so sweet. She gives good recommendations and takes care in any questions we have. We love your restaurant and we will be coming again. Probably by next week with our friends! The blueberry blackberry margarita and peach blueberry martini were delicious, and so is the food.

Great Oysters on the half shell. My prime rib was excellent. And the apple pie alarm mode was noteworthy. Half price bottle wine on Wed. Highly recommend.

We've been patrons for years. We eat here several times a month. My family has been coming since the 80s when I was young. The food & service have always been good. My husband has a severe allium allergy (onions, garlic, chives, leeks & shallots) and the staff has always been super attentive to that... Until last night. We had a waiter by the name of Maurice. He paid zero attention to the allergy, so much so that he allowed a plate of onion and garlic crackers to be dumped onto our cheeseboard. We asked for plain crackers as we always do, and we were told there were no plain crackers. This was especially disappointing especially since we mentioned the allergy right off the bat, just as we always do, giving the waiter plenty of time to inform us if no plain crackers would be available so th
