The service is nice, first time here. Friendly staff and delicious food! Has many plant based options! Will come back again with more people!
A very cool restaurant! We wandered in for the first time right before closing, fully expecting tired faces and leftover food — but nope! To our surprise, everything tasted like someone’s grandma was in the kitchen cooking just for us. Fresh, warm, home-style dishes that made us feel like we accidentally walked into a family dinner. Super tasty, super cozy, and honestly… we’re already planning our next visit. Definitely coming back!
I took takeout so it might’ve been a little bit better fresh but I don’t think this is a great spot although it is acceptable. I got the fish pakora and the tandoori chicken breast. Usually I get Koliwada fish from Vik’s but for some reason, they didn’t have it even though it was Sunday and so I thought I would try this. I guess it’s a different dish and that’s probably my fault. It was fine, but it was sort of as much carb as there was fish and it wasn’t a particularly nice texture or flavor. But it could be that that’s just what this dish is. However, the tandoori chicken I can more properly evaluate, and it was high-quality chicken, but it was pretty chewy and not particularly tasty. I don’t think I would get food from here again.
Amazing naan and roti with delicious curries, both vegetarian and non, to enjoy. Highly recommend if you want a meal that isn’t too heavy and is very flavorful.
Cozy spot with flavorful food! Highly recommended: Mango & sweet lassi – some of the best I’ve ever had: super creamy and not overly sweet. Veg korma – rich, flavorful cashew curry without being too sweet. Bhindi masala – nicely seasoned and not overly dry. Just okay: Veg chowmein – didn’t capture that true Indian street-style flavor, but still decent. Naans – a bit undercooked, though generously sized. I did end up with an upset stomach afterward (not sure which dish was the culprit, and everyone else was fine), so it might’ve just been an off day. Still, I’d happily come back for another try!
