A Victorian Rose, vacation rental

Our extended family had a great stay here. There's a spacious fenced-in yard for dogs, and extensive cookware for group meals and baking. The location is excellent as well, it's conveniently located right off the freeway, but also incredibly quiet and peaceful - everyone slept well. We also made good use of the BBQ grill and hot tub. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here while attending a concert downtown at the Center for the Arts . AVR has so much to offer and is in a perfect spot if you just want to park and walk which is what we were able to do. The house has many bedrooms to choose from and is clean and decorated to perfection. Everything is labeled and tvs and remotes have instructions included. We were impressed with the well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. If you forget something, they probably have it provided. The insulated garage/game room is loaded with games and movies, as is the house. A family could have a blast here with something for all to enjoy. We also enjoyed the hot tub and even though it was cold outside, the ‘man cave’ had heaters to keep us warm before getting in and while drying off. We enjoyed our coff

Seriously the most lovely place we have stayed. It was well appointed but more importantly; they had a lot of little extras. Walking distance to downtown but far enough out it’s perfect. The rooms are large and very clean. We loved it and would recommend to anyone.

Beautifully appointed Victorian, comfortable and inviting! Terrific kitchen, laundry and in-kitchen eating. Large dining room, lovely parlor (living room), comfy bedrooms (4) and a sleeping loft area. All the amenities you could wish for, hot tub, man-cave with fooz-ball, large TV and lots of seating for gathering to watch your favorite movies.. Grass Valley and neighboring Nevada City offer activities for everyone and lots of eateries. Can't wait to return!! Also, dog friendly for a reasonable fee.

What a lovely experience! I have stayed here more than once and have thoroughly enjoyed my stays. The owners have thought of everything to make this Victorian cozy and comfortable. I will be back.
