Our experience at A Sushi was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Even though it was Daniel’s very first time serving, you would never have known it. He was attentive, thoughtful, and made sure we were taken care of the entire meal. Our drinks were always checked on, and he made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was outstanding. Every dish was filling, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The sushi was damn near melt-in-your-mouth good — delicate, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. What truly stood out was how accommodating the staff was with my wheelchair. They made sure I was comfortable and had plenty of space without making it feel like an inconvenience. That level of awareness and kindness means a lot. Between the in
I stopped by A Sushi and Grill for dinner and left impressed with both the value and variety. The all-you-can-eat concept makes it easy to explore the menu, but be aware: you’ll be charged for uneaten food, so it’s best to order in waves as you go. I started with the miso soup, which was warm and comforting, then moved on to the spicy edamame and noodles — both packed with flavor. The popcorn lobster roll was a standout, crispy and rich with just the right balance of textures. The sushi options felt fresh and well-prepared, making it easy to keep ordering “just one more.” The short ribs were the only disappointment of the night, lacking the tenderness and flavor I expected. Fortunately, everything else more than made up for it. Overall, this spot is a great choice if you come hungry and
It's an all you can eat so quantity proceeds quality. The Nigiri and sushi were fresh but I felt like it was lacking seasoning and that flavor. It was kind of bland. The apps were pretty good with the exception with the calamari. It was really rubbery. The server was nice but there was a language barrier there. She also checked on us twice and the food took a while to come out. Sometimes we were sitting for 15 mins without anything. We ordered a little to try it out then it took another 30 mins to get our 2nd round of rolls. We were trying to leave but my son wanted dessert and it took them 20 mins to bring out a scoop of ice creams. Server checked on us twice and I just kept telling her we were still waiting for the ice cream.
Even though the price is slightly higher than other AYCE sushi ($40.99/person), the sashimi quality and food types are pretty satisfying. Compared to Sakura $29.99/person, A Sushi is like an upgrade from low to medium level of sushi. It has more types of appetizers and food sections. The spicy garlic edamame and cappaccio are very delicious. All food is tasty. Their green tea is real matcha powder, not cheap tea bag. Disappointment: fried scallops and fried soft craps (bitter). I like the decorative sushi boat and signing birthday song.
Very busy spot on a weekend lunch! There was a line out the door, but the wait was only about 20 minutes—not bad given the crowd. The hostess stand was a bit curt (understandably, with so many people to manage), but once seated, our server Josiah was excellent: friendly, attentive, and efficient. As far as all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi goes, the menu selection and overall quality are fairly average. They do put on a fun show with some dishes—trays featuring mermaids, dry-ice smoke, and other theatrics—but I’d personally prefer the food itself to look more appetizing than to rely on the presentation gimmicks. Overall, it was perfectly okay and worth trying once, but I probably won’t return or become a regular. I’ll stick to my usual non-AYCE spots in the future.
