99 Restaurants

This 99 restaurant is a hidden treasure. Although it is tucked away it has a great history from over a hundred years ago. The inside of the building is as unique as the outside. Although it used to be a textile mill they have turned it into a very well refined machine called the 99. Our server Amy was very friendly. Not only was she knowledgeable but very personable. Her badge said that she was the trainer. I can see why. She does everything with excellence. She was quick to take our drink orders and made some great menu recommendations. My house salad and my wife's Caesar salad came out before the meal. They were both fresh and the croutons were not soggy at all. This is the way a salad is supposed to be served. A late lunch. Very quiet. Specials were all appealing. And beef with mushroom gravy was perfect. Topped off with a petite dessert!

I had ordered the stuffed jumbo shrimp. What I got was not jumbo. It was regular cocktail shrimp, smashed to look bigger with not so good stuffing on it. The french fries were not crispy, and the rice pilaf was salty and undercooked. The one good thing I have to say is the French Onion Soup was really good.

Always a great meal at the 99. The steak tips are unbeatable, I’ve had others and they don’t even come close to 99. Gold fever wings are delicious. Zach is the best! Such a great guy, the best attitude and service , definitely have to have him when you come here and your experience will be the best!

I just want to give a shout out to Tony the manager there because he helped me order our food for our office despite the website and credit card issues we were having. He was even willing to deliver the order to us. I just want to say Thank you! and the food was delicious! Merry Christmas!
