Some the best dim sum/soup dumplings/pork buns since visiting New York. No lie. Ordered Lo mein, good accompaniment to the full meal. Spicy wontons for the appetizer, good classic pork chili oil wontons (10) in quantity. The stars of the meal were the soup dumplings and the pan friend pork buns. Soup dumplings were rich with an umami flavor. Great contrast when it comes to pairing with the chili crisp/oil and soy sauce. My favorite thing was the pan fried pork dumplings. Crispy bottom and pork filling. The bao soft texture adds a different experience because it does have a similar soup filling like the soup dumplings (different flavor). It’s a counter service type of place but all of the staff are friendly and they are relatively quick. 100% will come back.

I really enjoyed my visit to 88 Baobao! The baos were soft, flavorful, and freshly made — definitely some of the best I’ve had in the area. The fillings were well-balanced and delicious, from the classic pork to the creative fusion options. The service was also great — friendly, attentive, and quick, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re craving quality baos and a pleasant dining experience! Our favorite baos are custard baos, BBQ baos, xiu-long baos

There was small flies hovering at the table. They have an open kitchen but the staff dont wear gloves or keep mask covered. It was so disappointing to see them touch their hair, food then other items. Filling inside dumpling was alright not very flavorful. Ordered chicken and vegetarian dumplings plus bao buns. Overall not a great experience and would not recommend.

We’ve been to many dumplings restaurants. This one has been consistent in good quality and service. We’ve come here for many years and I haven’t written a review for them. My favorite is the beef noodle soup and beef roll. Their handmade noodles are so chewy and the beef is so tender. Soup is just right, not too salty or spicy. Soup dumplings and other dumplings are also fresh and delicious. Their price is still reasonable. Definitely recommend for any soup dumplings lovers.

A hidden gem, that gives “hole in the wall” vibes (which are usually the best!). We are not from the area but this restaurant came highly recommended. The staff was amazingly wonderful! So friendly and kindhearted. They made us feel right at home. The food was so good! We ordered: Vermicelli Chow Main/Noodles (added Chicken), Fried Rice, Fried Rolls, Dumplings and Orange Chicken. Everything was so, so delicious! Portions are large and plenty too. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.
