8 Mile Meadow Bread & Pasta

Our FAVORITE bakery. My daughter asks to get bread from there all the time. Amazing owner and friendly staff. They truly care about each product that gets put out. They are very ingredient aware- shopping local and small. Cannot recommend them enough!

I get all my bread, bagels, ficelle, pretzels and sourdough for my cafe from Jessica!! Hands down, best bakery around. Super accommodating, great communication and just an all around good person. Oh and her breads are outstanding with great sourdough tang 🙌🙌 simply the best!!

Love this bakery! Been in the area two years and always try to stop by when they’re open. Sourdough is the best around, mini garlic fougasse make a great snack, and the mix of daily cookies, scones, and treats keep it interesting. Staff are wonderful and friendly people, never had anything but great service.

The Vermont sour dough is epic! The lemon-ginger scone should not be passed on. Great for the ride back home.

I'm that type of person who loves sourdough bread. I even frequent restaurants that serve sourdough bread. Recently, I started buying loaves of sourdough at a wonderful little farm in Chester, then decided to go directly to the bakery that makes it for them, which is 8 Mile Meadow Bread & Pasta in Deep River. They call it their "Vermont Sourdough". It is, without a doubt, the best, most flavorful sourdough I've ever had - amazing stuff. And when wrapped carefully, it lasts much longer than other commercially made and marketed sourdough loaves, which tend to become brick-hard pretty quickly. I can't say enough about how wonderful 8 Mile Meadow's sourdough bread is - excellent!! I come all the way from Guilford for it. Now I'd better shut up, so they don't run out before I get there next
