The food was very good and seasoned just right. Got our food to go, my husband went in and ordered/waited. Didn't take long and he said the service and atmosphere was good. We got a fried catfish dinner and fried chicken wing dinner ( the wings are party size wings not whole wings) That would be my only recommendation is to have whole wings for a dinner. Our sides were mac n cheese, green beans,yams,red beans&rice all were good.

I order from DoorDash often. Their oxtails over rice never misses. Perfect spices. The green beans are good sometimes savory/ sweet sometimes just savory. The Mac is great when fresh and hot a little greasy but worth it. Also the Pot Roast over rice was really my favorite. Got it super hot/ fresh. Tore the food up in minutes!

Ordered lunch from here and everything i mean everything was phenomenal. I got the jerk chicken fries and it was the best ive ever had in my life. 10/10 This place will NOT dissapoint. You will be completely satisfied. My mom got the colossal shrimp and the deluxe chicken sandwich combo and she couldnt stop talking about how fresh snd tasty everything was.

Dry ass Mac n’ cheese. Pork chops weren’t bad, but my cousin’s $30 catfish was PINK. Apparently there’s a location in Portsmouth that’s way better. Literally only came here because we didn’t feel like driving far, wish we would have now.

The food was pretty good overall! 😊 I loved the green beans — they were definitely the highlight for me 🥰 The mac & cheese was decent but just a tad bit dry. The chicken was cooked well and juicy, but it could use a little more seasoning (not salt, just more flavor). As far as the atmosphere… that was disappointing. 😕 When I walked in, it smelled like straight weed 🚫🌿 and that was a 0/10 for me. I didn’t smell any food at all, just weed. When I go out to eat, I want to smell good food as soon as I walk in 🍽️✨ not that. Overall, I’d give it about a 6.5/10. There’s definitely potential, but the atmosphere really affected the experience.
