This is a hidden gem in Wilkesboro, tucked inside a renovated house in a quiet neighborhood. The ambiance feels upscale while still being very reasonably priced. The standard menu is small, but there are daily specials that are both affordable and excellent. I had the scallop special with crab/clam chowder—fantastic. The scallops were cooked perfectly. For dessert, the honey peach cheesecake paired beautifully with my old fashioned. The servers were friendly and attentive. They also serve as bartenders, so drinks can take a little longer than at a typical restaurant, but it’s clear they work hard and stay engaged with guests. Overall, this is a great spot that I highly recommend.

This was my first trip to "6th and Main." It was for a rehearsal dinner for our daughter's wedding. I was very impressed with the restaurant, the decor, and the food. The filet mignon was excellent! It was well worth the money. I wish I could fix mine that good! I loved the stain glass windows and the trim on the windows.

Great place, I had the grouper and it was fantastic. Atmosphere was nice, it is located in an old home with beautiful stained glass and it is easy to spend a relaxing hour dining and chatting. One negative is the parking, there is no parking and you have to figure it out yourself. It would be nice if the restaurant would help with info and suggestions. Especially if there is bad weather.

A solid 4!! Our food was great. Heather was a wonderful server, and the 1903 house we were in was slightly slanted. We will return!.

6th and main will forever hold a special place in my heart. The food is out of this world!! Not too pricey either. Heather was our waitress and she was amazing!! Everything was a 10/10. I will be back again and again!! If you haven’t tried them, it’s a must. They are delicious and have a very calming atmosphere.
