620 State Restaurant | Sushi + Asian + American + Cocktail Bar | Bristol, TN

Nice place, well flavored food and good iced tea. The atmosphere is casual and there is some outside seating. The bar is very well stocked with an extensive whiskey list and well made cocktails. Today's visit was not a five however because the service, while courteous, was somewhat slow and inconsistent; perfunctory, I would say. It was if they didn't have enough staff or the kitchen was overwhelmed. The dining room was relatively full but not packed but the staff that was present seemed to be running off their feet. Even so, I could see this as a regular go-to place in Bristol. Recommended.

1st time eating here. I usually posts my reviews soon after the experience Dec 1. Our guests ordered sushi, we ordered a couple appetizers and a beef dish. While 90% of the order was awesome, the calamari was sooo NOT. It was old, I expressed my concern to our server (Bethany) that they should not serve it. She rocked the Mexican coffee drink. One of the best I have ever had! Everyone was pleased with their meals. We will go back.

The atmosphere is great, smells good looks cute and welcoming. I ordered take out so service was basic, I ordered a blue burger, chicken drunken noodles and crab Rangoons. I was not impressed with my options, although they did not taste bad or anything presentation for the burger was not very impressive it sounded a lot better on paper. The drunken noodles was not exactly what I expected at least I liked the noodles used but it lacked flavor, it was more drowned and over powered by soy and that’s about it, no spice no sauce very dry gave me a bit of heart burn due to all the sodium from the soy which usually isn’t my experience as drunken noodles is one of my favorite dishes. For $16 I wasn’t impressed with the size either, not saying i was expecting a sloppy American sized portion but it

This place never disappoints. The tuna tataki is incredible. We were also there for Sunday Brunch so we had the chicken fried steak and biscuits to share, GREAT flavor. Mimosas were a fantastic pour (iykyk). We have had the Lamb Lollipops...soooo good. We refer this restaurant to many of our friends. All the staff is extremely nice, we had Jessica as our server the last time, so pleasant and attentive (it was a busy day)

620 State will continue to be my favorite sushi spot! I have moved out of the area and me and my husband visit every time we are in town. It’s always on point and delicious. Service is great!
