'55 Exchange

If you’re at Clemson and haven’t stopped by 55 exchange Ice Cream in Hendrix Hall, you’re seriously missing out! This little spot is such a gem on campus. The ice cream is incredibly creamy, the flavors are always rotating, and everything tastes super fresh. They’ve got both classics and fun, seasonal options that make it hard to pick just one. The staff was friendly and patient when i needed to sample more than one. . It’s the perfect mid-day treat between classes or a great way to unwind after a study session. Big bonus? The portions are generous and the prices are student-friendly. Highly recommend grabbing a scoop or two next time you’re near Hendrix. You won’t be disappointed! 🐅🍨

Excellent ice cream. This is my 3rd time here and I will continue to go each time I visit. Love that the university makes their own ice cream and they have so much variety from sundaes, iced coffee and ice cream and interesting flavors. This time I tried the Caramel Mocha Latte and I really liked it though the Golden Tiger is really the best. The only thing that could make this place better is the atmosphere. There is always a line and the space is small so there is nowhere to sit except for outside or in the student lounge which is a little walk. During the semester you probably wouldn’t sit there with your family, especially if you have kids.

Some of the best ice cream I've eaten! The peach is so amazing and the golden tiger was one of the best flavors I've ever had. Seriously check this place out! You won't regret it!

They always offer at least one dairy free option and also sell Clemson Blue Cheese (when available). It is a student run dairy that makes the ice cream and then students also run the shop. Prices are reasonable too.

Not much to say, delicious ice cream, quick service, and friendly staff! The paid parking lot is a little brutal but understandable since it’s a college campus.
