5 A.M. Donuts

5AM Donuts is like a Wes Anderson film, but with cinnamon rolls— The pastel pink walls and perfectly arranged donut trays make you feel like you’ve walked into a whimsical donut diorama, where symmetry reigns supreme, and every pastry could have a backstory. The cinnamon rolls are legendary. They’re as big as your face and probably the reason I’m rethinking my life choices (in a good way). If I ever get stranded on a desert island, I hope I have one of these cinnamon rolls with me—it’d be worth it. The star of the show, though, is the sweet lady at the register. This place, is by far my favorite place for donuts. Their dough is unlike that of shiplys or any other spot. It has so much more flavor and texture. They sell out of their specialty donuts rather early. But you will be able to get glazed and chocolate without a problem. The owners are simply the best. So kind and remember all of their regulars. my family loves this spot!

Absolutely fantastic donuts, best donuts in Haltom City area. The lady was super nice and she threw in some donuts holes for free. She knew what she was doing bc now I'm gonna buy some the next time I go. The glaze is fantastic on their donuts and if you get the donuts early enough you can taste the difference in the fluff. About as close to gourmet donuts from a local donut place. Please try it.

I've driven by this place on the way back from work for months, and I get off at 3 am, mind you, and this place is always lit and good folks are working. Today, out of curiosity, i stopped by for half a dozen donuts, and man OHHH man was I happy I did, you see, old fashioned donuts like these are becoming a rarity in this time and age. Fluffy, sweet, light clouds of happiness in a box, I'm glad i tried them, and so should you. Nice little Mom and Pop shop that should be alot more appreciated than they are, top class.

I’ve been going here for many many years. Hands down, the best donuts I’ve ever had. I don’t live close by anymore and dream about them. I fly across the country to have them once a year. Absolutely worth it. Just a simple glazed donuts is amazing to me.
