Typical hotel lobby restaurant. Dinner menu has enough variety for three nights. Breakfast is fast and efficient, Marriott buffet is consistent with similar hotels. Made to order pancakes and omelettes. Dinner is decent, service is relatively fast. It's a convenient option as there are no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Portions are sizeable, food is well prepared.

Had a cauliflower steak and a mock-mule. Both were amazing! But the "steak" could've used a side, as it was not very filling even with the lentils. Food came out very slow, even though there were only ~3 parties.

Buffalo Cauliflower!!! Fried hard, not soft mushy or falling apart like some other places is what I like the most. Amazingly delicious. I bring my son here for a few days getaway to relax and swim. Reasonably priced. I come often.

I decided to eat at this restaurant inside the Weston Hotel in Itasca, Illinois after the end of the Chicagopex trade show because the weather was getting cold and windy, and I wanted to have something to eat before I took my 10:20 flight from Midway Airport. I ordered the French onion soup to start on the waitress's recommendation. It was very hearty and rich with the baked cheese layer on top. I then ate an Illinois Farm Salad with grilled chicken added. The salad was built on field greens, tomatoes, walnuts, goat cheese, dried cranberries and a layer of green apple slivers. The dressing was a delicious pomegranate vinaigrette. The salad was ample enough for dinner, but did not make be uncomfortable to fly. Service was very good. The food here is very good, I haven't been disappointed. Had the balsamic chicken sandwich and it was excellent, fries were good too. Great friendly service and nice atmosphere. If you are staying at the Westin it is worth checking out.
