My daughter brought me a box of pastries for a birthday gift from this Cafe. She brought me my favorite almond croissant along with a carrot cake muffin and cinnamon bun. Having been trained at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, I've been exposed to some pretty high levels of pastry. These were undoubtedly some of the best fresh made pastries I've had from anywhere in a long time! Even better was the fact that I didn't get to eat them until 2 days after she had purchased them and they were still phenomenal!
The coffee is solid and the bakery items are awesome. Creative and well made with offering a for the sweet tooth and the savory food lover. I have had the cinnamon roll which is out of this world, a mixture of a classic sticky bun and an iced cinnamon roll. I also have had a muffin and a pork croissant which both were well made and delicious. The upstairs seating including an outdoor balcony are comfortable and well maintained.
The best baristas in town! They’re well trained, consistent (measure and weigh each pull), are highly skilled, and take the time to pull each shot with care for your coffee drinks. I’ve even seen them dial in the grinder mid-day to assure each shot is perfect. Other coffee shops in town need to step up to deliver this level of quality. The football sized croissants are just a bonus!
I love 260cafe, all their high quality bread, sweets, coffee. But they do so much mistakes. Always there’s something wrong items, or day-old bread in my order. I love their products but their service is disappointing sometimes. Once, we had to wait for 30 minutes for coffee even though there were not much customers, if you have a toddler, we‘ll understand how difficult this situation is.
Traffic flow was not the best but we entered from the side door on Gay St and had no issues! Chocolate croissant was 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻. London Fog and Carrot Cake Danish were just ok! Flavor innovations were impressive and supply didn't run out even though we went at like 10!
