The restaurant is older and not all glitzy which is good. It keeps the prices reasonable. The waitress was awesome, could not have been better. Super friendly and attentive. The best hush puppies I’ve ever had. The fried shrimp were on the smaller size but delicious. There was a mountain of them on the plate. You could get large shrimp, but I chose not to. The scallops were perfect. I’ve never had fried scallops done so perfectly. I can’t say enough about the place. If you’re in the neighborhood make sure to stop and see them.

10/10 Recommend — Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover! Looks a little rundown, but the food and service make up for it! Fried flounder, shrimp, and sweet potatoes were solid hot, fresh, and fast. But the real star? THE HUSH PUPPIES. I’ve never liked hush puppies before, and now I’m obsessed. Went back just to take some home! Oh and the sweet tea was perfection. Prices were super cheap, service was amazing, and the owner was so sweet. If you care more about good food than aesthetics, this spot is worth every penny. Go hungry and don’t skip the hush puppies!

I am so happy we decided to try this spot! We have NO regrets! We ordered our food to go. The restaurant was super busv. But evervone was friendly & welcoming! We heard some parties saying they made reservations. I see why! The popcorn Shrimp are small but so delicious! As someone who's originally from Va the moment I tasted the cocktail sauce with my shrimp, I knew the ioke meal would be good! And it was! We ordered the kids popcorn shrimp & baked potato for me and a two combination plate with trout & shrimp for him. Both came with slaw & hush puppies.

This was our first time eating here and the food is delicious. From the hush puppies to the shrimp and fries plus the slaw it was all really good. The waitress was fantastic as well. I got a senior shrimp plate for nine bucks. We will be back.

Food was hot and cooked to perfection. Staff wanted to make me happy and easily showed it. They were very busy but made sure I had everything with my take out order. Will go back again soon!
