1878 Bed and Breakfast

My fiance and I stayed here one night, but wish we could have stayed longer! Elizabeth was a pleasure to meet and very accommodating! The B&B was clean and beautifully restored. We really enjoyed the history of the house as well as of the pieces of furniture Elizabeth had found. We stayed in the Pinehurst room. Would highly recommend! Thank you Elizabeth!

My wife and I went for our anniversary weekend. We had a wonderful stay. Elizabeth. The proprietor was great and accommodated all of our needs. Really made us feel welcome for our special weekend. She was very kind and breakfast was excellent. Charming place to stay in an old historic North Carolina town. Very close to a lot of unique hiking areas and golf towns. Hope to return to this area in the future.

We had the most wonderful experience at Ms. Elizabeth's bed and breakfast. We walked through the town of Cameron , looking at historic buildings, enjoyed coffee and shopping for old antiques . Elizabeth's cozy and welcoming home felt like the heartbeat of Cameron . We were welcomed warmly with a hig and a friendly smile as we pulled into the driveway. The home was so neat , clean and inviting , the beds were so comfy and each morning we woke up to again , Elizabeth's bright smiling spirit while she made us the best southern breakfast ever . Thank you Elizabeth, we will look forward to staying with you again !!

My husband & I wanted to enjoy a "staycation" nearby so we booked a room at 1878 Bed & Breakfast & enjoyed our stay immensely. The home is lovely and the furnishings are antiques, with a little bit of contemporary art to balance the vibe. We were treated to a lunch at a local deli, did a little shopping in some local antique stores & made a few purchases. Dinner was fried chicken, cooked to perfection, garlic cheesy mashed potatoes and butterbeans. Elizabeth will work with you ahead of time to make sure your dietary needs are met. Our favorite spot was the upstairs porch, where we spent a great deal of our time. Elizabeth hung out with us as we wanted her to. She's funny and her company made our stay even better.
