1862 David Walley's Restaurant & Saloon

We got there right before closing and they were packed but they managed to get us a table. Turned out great . The atmosphere was warm the music was nice The musician was talented. We were in the same room and you could still have a conversation I appreciated that. We got lucky that night getting the table without reservations and that late. Thank you 1862!

Had the Thanksgiving Day buffet today. Not many selections. Had the regulars for Thanksgiving, but honestly the best thing was the mashed potatoes and gravy. Carving station attendee seemed nervous and meat thickness was all over the place. Some desserts dry while others were okay. Definitely more of a $40 buffet rather than $70.

Great place! I was very impressed with my visit. The food was delicious, the dishes were served quickly, and everything looked beautifully presented. The staff were polite and attentive, and you can really feel that they care about their guests. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and comfortable with nice background music. I’ll definitely come back again and gladly recommend this restaurant to others!

It is a nice restaurant with a nice view. The food was good, service was a little lacking. My only issue was they were out of alot of things on the menu. When I ordered the prime rib they brought it and it was way over cooked and hard to cut. I think it was reanimated from the prior days service. They replaced it with a ribeye which was cooked beautifully and well seasoned. Overall it was a lovely meal with a lovely view. I believe they had a huge weekend service and we visited on a Monday.

It’s a beautiful place, with a unique and thoughtfully decorated interior that really stands out. The only downside was that the food was just okay—nothing particularly special or memorable. Our waiter also took quite a while to take our order after we were seated. Other than that, everything else was great.
