The Club House

The Club provided an excellent lunch with a large number of delicious choices. I had a really hard time deciding what to have. The Coconut Breaded Shrimp was delicious! The best part was the service. Karen was very personable and went out of her way to make it a great lunch!

I came in on cloudy summer day, just expecting to have a little bite maybe a drink. And the experience I had was much more memorable than just that.. I decided to sit at the bar where I met Liz a beautiful, sweet and knowledgeable bartender, a guy named Jeff was back there as well who seemed to be maybe be the bar manager or even owner.. I order a amaretto sour, which was probably one of the best I have ever had. Very well balance drink, made the proper way(with egg white) and of course a cute little design on top.. as I sipped my cocktail I scanned the menu to see if anything caught my eye, that’s when the chef himself came out and started talking to me about the dishes. He told me I had to try the baby back ribs with a tamarind chipotle sauce. He continued to share his secrets on how he

Out of owner's who stopped by on our way through. Casual vibe. We chose to sit in the bar dining area. Service and food were both great. I spotted the specials board behind the bar after I had ordered and quickly changed my order. Probably not quick enough to not inconvenience them because the food came out fast! Everyone was friendly and seemed to know one another. The best part was at the end of our meal our waiter told us another patron who left while we were there picked up our tab. Can't beat that for our first experience in Gardnerville! Gives me faith in humanity and makes me want to pay it forward.

I had a lovely dinner at the Club House. The patio is a hidden gem. Super peaceful with a view of the driving range and golf course. The spicy grapefruit margarita was really tasty and the beet salad was delicious. Vanessa was our server and she knew the menu extremely well. Even though we were the only ones on the patio she didn’t forget about us and gave excellent friendly service. I should have taken my pictures before I started eating, but figured I’d post them anyway. I’ll be back for sure!
