16th Street Donuts

Best donuts on 16th Street. Better than those 17th Street Blips donuts. I don’t mess with them no more. Make sure you tip the fine purveyor of nuts of dough for your silly mouth. They ain’t operating in this dodgy area for their health you know. Good drip coffee too.

Early morning atmosphere was positive and light. Easy to order. Donuts are fresh and delicious. Man behind the counter was friendly. Definitely recommend this donut shop as top rank. Service was A1. Sidenote: no stinky smell as I read in one review. Donuts smell wonderful.

BEST APPLE FRITTER IN ALL OF SACRAMENTO!! It needs to be shouted from the rooftops. I have tried a lot of local donut spots like Marie's (not enough apple) and New Roma Bakery (I like their savory breads and coffee cakes better than their donuts). This is truly the standout winner. See photos for big chunks of apples. Yes! This is the place! 1st visit: Excellent apple fritter--crunchy outer folds, soft inside and a solid layer of cooked apple throughout. Nice butter bar--like a maple bar but with an old fashioned donut. Good cake donut and twist. Everything was soft and delightful. Friendly service. Affordable prices.

Food - definitely get the croissants and the apple fritters. They keep me coming back for more. Service - very fast service everytime I come in. There may be a slight wait, they are very popular. Atmosphere - you don't come here for the atmosphere guys. It's a donut shop. The atmosphere is perfect for a local hole in the wall donut shop. Other - the espresso machine as of 01.30 was broken. I hope this comes back. They still have pot drip coffee. There is a .50c card processing fee below a $5.00 purchase so bring cash.

I came here today with zero expectations just serious donut craving and found this spot on Google. I picked up two and finished one in the blink of an eye! These donuts are honestly amazing: super fluffy, never dry, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. On top of that, the prices are really affordable, which was such a pleasant surprise. I think I’ve officially found my new favorite donut spot 🥲. Bonus points for the staff too the guy working was so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend! Had to come back and edit my review because this is honestly the BEST donut place in all of Sacramento. I’ve never found any other donut shop that even comes close to surpassing this 🙌🙌 Very highly recommended!!
