101 Chicken - Ridgefield Park (101 치킨)

Not a typical K Chicken place. It seems like taste is more gear towards to local instead of following close traits of K chicken. Don't get me wrong, taste is not bad. But K's taste bud glazed chicken taste bit blend instead of having a kick like other K chicken. I recommend this place if you don't want to travel all the way to Fort Lee or Palisades Park but want to get K chicken.

Great korean fried chicken with a couple unique and tasty options. I think the coating is a little too thick, maybe because of the extra potato crunch. They have pretty good dipping sauces as well but you have to pay - we like the kbbq and their 101 sauce. Ddukbokki has fish cake and some chewy glass noodle. I think the rice cake is a bit overcooked and the 101 one would probably be better than rose cuz it is more on the sweet and fatty side. It is pretty spicy for me. At this location, there are only 2 outdoor tables for dine in.

Great food, I got the Garlic Crumble, the Hot and Spicy, and the Supreme. The smell was really good, it had great taste. The chicken was fresh, my mouth is watering just thinking about 101 chicken. Really nice service, I will say. They even have a small window to see how they cook. They even have machines. They give free samples sometimes, and they gave me a cheese ball. It has more of a vanilla pastrie touch. Great experience, especially since they just opened up.

So happy we tried this spot! We tried the 101 Potato Crisp, the Original wings, the Soy Honey wings, and the Chi-Rimp wings. All were fantastic, our favorites being the 101 Potato Crisp & the Original Wings. They gave us way more chicken than we asked for (YAY) and also the fries we ordered were perfectly crispy and super flavorful. We’re excited to order from here again!! they were also so kind to give us samples of all their sauces too :3

Food was ok. This particular area is saturated with Korean chicken spots so there’s some major competition. We got 2 flavors (garlic and soy honey) both sauces felt like they were missing something. Chicken was juicy however over breaded IMO and way overpriced. Wouldn’t return unfortunately.
