热辣滚烫 flushing

Been looking for good place that does decent intestine dish and a liver dish that has good wok hay or mala. I was very surprised how good these were. They scratched that itch and exceeded my expectations. They are listed under peculiar names like bandit liver and spicy fatty sausage. I was really hungry so I ordered another dish like the gastric duck blood which to my surprised was equally as good.

Just reading the menu, you can tell this place is very Sichuan/Chongqing in style—lots of regional character and bold flavors. We ordered 金汤泡椒田鸡+黑鱼片, and it tasted truly authentic. The owner also mentioned that the side ingredients change slightly day to day depending on what’s available at the market, which feels very true to the “jianghu” (down-to-earth, market-driven) style of Sichuan/Chongqing cooking. The location is a bit out of the way, but it still draws plenty of diners at both lunch and dinner. If you like this kind of hearty regional food, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Cold pot fish! Preserved eggs! The taste is great and the service is excellent.

Very authentic Sezchuan cuisine, reasonable price for big portion. Definitely will come back again!
