唐人街 Chinatown Restaurant

Tried this restaurant for the first time, it was terrible. Walking into the establishment, everything is blocked off by tables. It’s carry out online, we didn’t even get greeted. We stood there until someone walked out from the kitchen. I ordered chicken fried rice but it didn’t taste like chicken. The meat was chewy and rubbery, it has a spoiled taste. My fiancé ordered sweet and sour chicken, they were huge tenderloins! Again, the meat was chewy and rubbery. Wasn’t worth the price and drive from Waukesha.

Chinese food is my absolute favorite and I love to try all different Chinese restaurants especially in many different states. Out of the over 50+ Chinese restaurants I’ve tried, this has to be the WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had. The lo mein was a very dark brown color and had a strange gasoline-like smell and was inedible. The bbq pork tasted weird and had a chewy texture. The egg rolls were very dark (not burnt) and tasted strange as well. The seafood had a foul smell. Im assuming the oil hasn’t been changed. Everything we tasted, we couldn’t continue eating because it either tasted weird or just plain disgusting. I’m so disappointed since the previous reviews were good. Our food looked nothing like the food on the reviews. Assuming quality has gone down. 70 dollars wasted.

The lady on the phone spoke good English and worked with me to get the order that I wanted. Larger portions than other Chinese takeout in the area. Take out only at this point in time- September 2023. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes.

Great place to grab a meal. The food is delicious. We had a large order and everyone was very happy with their food. Reasonable prices.

THE PEPPER STEAK HAD A WEIRD GAMMY SMELL,WITH LITTLE TO NO GRAVY. HUGE CUTS OF BELL PEPPER AND ONION AND VERY LITTLE MEAT,THAT WAS UNDERCOOKED,AND WAY TO SALTY .IT MADE ME FEEL SICK TO MY STOMACH. NOT TO MENTION THE LADY'S DEMEANOR, IT SUCKS AND SHES ALWAYS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! 🤢🤮
