人间烟火小酒馆（Dynasty BBQ)

Went here with a bunch of friends and had an amazing time. This place is not too big so it doesn’t really get loud. As you walk in you’ll see someone playing a Chinese harp which was a cool experience. Our orders came out pretty fast as you’ll order from the your phone. I recommended the lamb and beef skewers, so tender and juicy. The veggies are great too and they give you a lot. I didn’t drink but everyone else did and the shots were light so don’t expect to get tipsy. Overall everything was good and they give you a lot of rice too so I’d share with someone. Only thing I would stay away from is the stinky tofu. Not many can handle it and I’m one of them.

Everything we ordered was delicious. The skewers were freshly grilled with that perfect mix of spice and smokiness — especially the lamb and squid. The garlic eggplant was full of flavor, soft but not oily, and the grilled buns were a great pairing. Definitely one of the best Chinese BBQ places I’ve tried in the Bay Area!

The skewers at dynasty bbq are delicious with a ton of seasoning. I enjoyed the beef tongue, lamb, and mushroom skewers the most.

Solid Chinese BBQ place! The spices and light smoke flavor on the skewers were great. We tried a variety of skewers and they were all quite good. I found the mushrooms a bit chewy in the oyster mushroom skewer and the enoki mushroom foil pot though. Menu is a bit smaller than other BBQ places, but the food was good. Service was very fast on a Thursday night as well. Prices are a bit higher than other BBQ places though. The restaurant is decorated in classical Chinese style fairly elaborately. Some might find it tacky, but I thought it was done quite nicely, and it makes for a charming atmosphere which perfectly matches the live guzheng music they apparently have sometimes.

Hubby spotted this place on his way to the gym. We stopped in for dinner. Joined the waitlist and waited a good 30-45 minutes. Interior decor is beautiful. See photos. We felt like we were dining in a private booth. We ordered several skewers. Quail egg: 3/5 justes tasted mushy Pork: 5/5 fatty and tasty Beef: 5/5 very good Beef tendon: 3/5 just ok Chicken skin: 4/5 crispy but probably wouldn’t get this again Gizzard: 4/5 good and chewy Beef tongue: 5/5 good! A- choy: 5/5 very good! Bacon and enochi: 3/5 you get 3, ok Good service, reasonable prices, good amount of meat. All the skewers seemed to have the same seasoning/spices. Glad we tried something new.
