The service was great. Everyone who served us was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was also great. Nice environment and good music. However my food was mediocre. I ordered a typical dish called encebollado which is very common so I would’ve expected to be great and delicious. It was not. The tuna was very hard and it was annoying having to keeping chewing over and over. The liquid itself was plain lacking salt and some type of condiments. I guess every place has its way of making this dish but I particularly didn’t like the big raw onions on top of the soup that overpowered the whole food. Lastly the soup was warm. Not hot at all. It is hard to find good Ecuadorian restaurants in New Jersey. Nanos is one of the few. There is an extensive menu of traditional Ecuadorian food. There is also a large bar that serves many cocktails. There is also an English menu and they have servers that speak English or Spanish.

Today we decided with a group of friends to go to breakfast to celebrate the birthday of one of them, Evelyn attended us and the treatment we received was the best, a very attentive and helpful waitress and the food was delicious, they also gave us a piece of cake for our birthday girl. 100% recommended.

I'm always on the hunt for a little taste of home here in the US, and I finally found it at Ñaños 593. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I was back in Ecuador. The atmosphere, the music, and especially the smells, it all took me right back to my roots. The food was beyond amazing. I had the tigrillo, and it was PERFECT and My friends had the encebollado, and they couldn't stop raving about how authentic and flavorful it was. Every dish that came out of the kitchen looked so good I wanted to try them all, but the portions were so generous and delicious that I was completely full.
